An innovative railway safety barrier system designed to provide rapid, secure separation between workforces and operational railway lines. Vortok magnetic fencing attaches directly to the rail web without disturbing the ballast, eliminating the need for excavation or specialist installation tools. Its lightweight, two-component design enables installation and removal over 20 times faster than traditional fencing methods, significantly reducing labour requirements, possession times and associated costs.

Suitable for a wide range of railway environments, including switches and crossings, the system features adjustable positioning, robust fibreglass components and magnetic attachments that do not interfere with track circuits or axle counters. Certified to EN 13374 Class A and holding Network Rail Product Acceptance PA05/05085, it provides a practical, efficient solution for establishing fenced safe systems of work, subject to appropriate site-specific safety arrangements.

Ekki & European Hardwood Mats

Notus Site Services offers a versatile range of heavy-duty Ekki and European hardwood timber mats, providing robust temporary access, ground protection and load-spreading solutions for demanding construction and infrastructure environments. Suitable for crane operations, piling platforms, heavy plant access, temporary haul roads and working platforms, our hardwood mats provide a durable and reliable solution for challenging ground conditions.

Available in 3m, 4m and 5m lengths, with thicknesses of 100mm, 200mm and 300mm across both Ekki and European hardwood options, our range can accommodate a variety of applications and loading requirements, subject to site-specific ground conditions and engineering assessments. Legato Interlocking Concrete Blocks – LG Series

Notus Site Services offers the Legato LG Series interlocking concrete blocks for hire, providing a robust, versatile and cost-effective solution for a wide range of construction and temporary works applications. Common uses include retaining walls, material storage bays, site segregation, security barriers and construction compounds. Their modular interlocking design enables rapid installation, reconfiguration and removal, making them particularly suitable for temporary and evolving site requirements.

Beyond conventional applications, we regularly incorporate Legato blocks into bespoke temporary works solutions, including structural stooling, temporary supports, kentledge arrangements, counterweights and engineered support systems. TVCB Barriers, Fencing & Gates

Notus Site Services provides heavy-duty Temporary Vertical Concrete Barriers (TVCBs) for hire, offering robust vehicle segregation, traffic management and perimeter protection across construction, highways and infrastructure projects. Designed for vehicle impact protection, our TVCB systems can be combined with proprietary 1.8m-high Eclipse V-mesh security fencing, creating an integrated solution with an overall height of approximately 2.55m. This provides enhanced site security, pedestrian segregation and protection against unauthorised access while maintaining a secure boundary between construction activities and live traffic.

Our modular system incorporates 3m-wide fencing panels, specialist bolt-on connections and adaptable corner arrangements, allowing secure, continuous fencing configurations to suit individual site layouts. Ideal for construction compounds, highway schemes, temporary site boundaries and high-security infrastructure environments, the system offers a practical alternative to installing separate concrete barriers and perimeter fencing.
